Social media skills development for ADARUQ

Quebec Association of University Research Administrators (ADARUQ) brings together professionals from various Quebec institutions, one of whose objectives is to promote the development of university research in Quebec. The training aimed to equip members with essential social media skills to improve their online presence and engagement.

Goals

Designed in a 1h30 format, the training aimed to :

  • Provide an understanding of the different social media platforms and their strategic use in the context of scientific research.
  • Share best practices and mistakes to avoid when creating and distributing engaging content that is relevant to target audiences.
  • Promote effective interaction on social networks to increase research visibility.
Information

To achieve these objectives, we mobilized :

  • Expertise in digital communication: Training provided by a digital communication specialist with significant experience in the research community.
  • Innovative teaching approach: Use of interactive and participative teaching methods, including practical examples and question-and-answer sessions to maximize learning and engagement.
  • Customized training materials: Creation of customized training materials, including concrete examples and a toolbox, to facilitate understanding and application of the concepts taught.
